Isaiah Saville got an early Christmas present when he was recalled by the Vegas Golden Knights to dress in his first NHL game December 21, 2023. Logan Thompson was sideline with a minor injury and Saville was recalled from the AHL's Henderson Silver Knights. He dressed as backup to Jiri Patera.
Saville was recalled for the second time during the 2023-24 season in January. Logan Thompson was out with an illness and Saville once again suited up behind Patera. Patera finished the game but sustained an injury that left him out of the lineup for their next game. Logan Thompson returned to take the start in goal and Saville remained with the team to dress as backup to Thompson. After seven games as Thompson's backup, Vegas goalie Adin Hill returned to the lineup after missing an extended period with an injury and Saville was sent back to the AHL.
