   November, 2023 the New York Rangers lost both Jonathan Quick and Igor Shesterkin to minor injuries. Louis Domingue took over the starting job and Dylan Garand was recalled from the Hartford Wolf Pack to dress as backup for one game. 

   Over a year after his first taste of the NHL, Garand was recalled to the Rangers when Shesterkin left the team temporarily to join his wife for the anticipate birth of their child. Garand dressed as backup to Jonathan Quick. 

   February, 2025 Garand was recalled to dress as backup to Quick for one game while Shesterkin recovered from a minor injury.
