1 NHL Game
March 8, 2018 St. Louis Blues vs San Jose Sharks. 0-2 loss.
When Blues goalie Carter Hutton was injured shortly before a game against the San Jose Sharks, the team was left scrambling to find a backup to Jake Allen. Ville Husso was recalled from the AHL but wasn't going to make the game on time. Wexler was signed to a one-game professional try-out contract with St. Louis, took part in the pre-game warm ups, but spent the game in the dressing room as the team's backup goalie. When asked in a post-game interview, Wexler said the NHL told the Blues to keep him in the dressing room for liability reasons. Hutton's game-day injury was so sudden that he was still listed on the official game summary instead of Wexler. For all intents and purposes, Wexler was the Blues backup goalie for the entire NHL game.
- Wore #85 with St. Louis Blues
